PowerGo stands for fast, easy, and guaranteed sustainable charging. At PowerGo we believe in a future where electric driving is the standard. That is why we make the transition to sustainable mobility accessible to everyone. 

To make this happen, we are building an international (fast) charging network. We have started, expanded, and rolled out projects in seven different European countries, for both public and fleet charging solutions. Our partners include Radisson Hotel Group, HelloFresh, large supermarket chains, retail locations and a growing number of municipalities. 

At PowerGo, you charge with solar energy from our own solar parks. PowerGo is the subsidiary of PowerField. PowerField specializes in the production and storage of renewable energy. Since 2015 we have developed almost 1 gigawatt of solar energy. This is equal to more than 300.000 average Dutch households. 

PowerField and PowerGo offer the full circle solution: generation, storage, and use of renewable energy.

Your role 

As Business Development Consultant at PowerGo your work is visible inside and outside the organization. Your role consists of a 40-hour workweek. You will be involved in the development, realization, and management of charging solutions.  

You will be working together with the Project Managers. In this team you will have an important role in which you are responsible for generating new partnerships, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and developing tailored solutions to create a robust sales pipeline. You stay up to date with market developments, identify trends, conduct negotiations, and set up cooperative agreements.   

Your key responsibilities are:  

  • Support for our Business Development Team. 
  • Generate ideas and analyze the competitive landscape and signal potential areas for expansion.  
  • Create an understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs within the sector.   
  • Assist with and work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless project execution. 
  • Maintain relationships with clients. 

About you 

At PowerGo you are part of a fast-growing international organization. It is important that you can work from different perspectives and have the following competencies:  

  • You have a good command of both written and spoken German and English. 
  • You have an affinity for sustainable energy and the energy transition. 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or completed University, or you have reached this level through work experience. 
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in sales. 
  • You can work well independently as well as in a team. 
  • You have a proven track record in business development. Working experience in a start-up is a plus.  
  • You are results-oriented, proactive and you have problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in CRM Software (HubSpot), Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.

We have offices in Wormer (NL), Groningen (NL), Copenhagen (DK), and Barcelona (ES), with a growing number of colleagues working remotely or from flexible locations throughout Europe. For this position, it is desirable that you reside in Germany and speak German. As we currently don’t have an office space in Germany you will be working fully remote.
